“Everything that irritates us about others can lead us to an understanding of ourselves.” ~ Carl Jung
Let’s get right into the heart of the matter, shall we?
What is Judgement? And what makes us and others a “judgey” person? (That’s my term for being judgemental).
Judgement is a belief and decision formed about another person or situation based on assumptions and reflection of personal experiences.
What makes us “judgey” is when we decide to point the blame finger outwards to deflect from our own fears and pain locked inside.
It’s so much easier to pull someone down than to have the courage to rise up to a higher level and own our sh*t!
Yes! It’s very hard work to look in and take responsibility for our own actions (and non), detach from our past pains and patterns, and start our healing journey to freedom.
And no, not everyone can own UP to that level. You have to be ready and willing for it. Otherwise the choice will always be fear and pain over love of self and others.
Only those who want their goals and dreams bad enough are willing to go through the awakening process, and judgment is a big part of it.
So where to do we start and how can we let go of being “judgey”, rise high above the pain those who judge us, to continue on our authentic soul missions?
